Gold Fill is the process where a thick layer of 14kt gold is heat and pressure coated to a center core of brass. This layer is thicker than gold plating and is a minimum of 5% overall content for an item to be classified as filled. When taken care of, 14kt gold fill will last just as long as solid 14kt gold. Gold-filled pieces can still tarnish but it is rare. It has all of the benefits of solid gold, without the price tag.
Sterling Silver is used in jewelry is most commonly 925 Sterling Silver (92.5% silver and 7.5% copper in alloy form). It is a versatile metal with a true silver appearance. It is a long lasting, durable and lightweight alloy that is perfect for everyday wear. It's high pure silver content makes it good for hypoallergenic skin types.
Gold and Silver Plating is the process of dipping a brass, silver or copper item into a bath of liquid gold or silver. Once the item is coated, then an electric current is applied to the piece. The electric current attracts the gold to the base metal, where it reacts leaving a thin gold covering.
Stainless Steel is a metal compound of mostly iron, carbon, and chromium. Stainless steel is hardy, low maintenance and strong and usually is non-tarnishing. Environmentally stainless steel is the best metal as it is 100% recyclable and is believed to use less natural resources to produce than other metals.

I have tested the products that I sell on my site and am confident in the quality. Please take a bit of extra care to ensure the longevity of your jewelry.
